Technology has democratised the media space, Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services Palanivel Thiaga Rajan said here on Friday.
Speacking at the 'Media Futures Conference Series', organised by the Department of Journalism and Communications, University of Madras and Randomwalk, he said: "We have seen what artificial intelligence (AI) can do; it can be creative, and it has the capability to be augmentative and better the performance of individuals or companies by providing a supporting mechanism. All these can make for a good or not-so-good outcome."
With AI- augmented learning, there is so much information to show that if one has a loop with a good AI assistant, the ability to correct learning shortfalls in schools in much better evaluate papers, he said S.Elumalai, register University of Madras, said AI was like a double-edged sword, and we would do well to optimally use the positive aspects of it.
